ATTENTION: NEW INFORMATION ON THE SAP PROGRAM UNDER MEMBERSHIP UPDATES. SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED AS WELL.

NEWEST UPDATES

AS OF JUNE 30, 2009

1. The 96 move to Flint was approved and sign up for employees will be July 13th—22nd. They will call people in order of seniority and the numbers are as follows:                            165 Production

                                            15 Electricians

                                            6 Millwrights

                                            7 Pipefitters

                                            5 Toolmakers

 

2. There will be an informational meeting at the Local 594 at Local 594 Union Hall at 10 a.m. to answer any questions you may have.

 

3. Flint Stamping (Cisco 48091) needs skilled trades employees to fill temporary positions in order to support rearrangement for additional work. They need:

                                            42 Millwrights

                                            16 Machine Repair

                                            20 Electricians

                                            9 Pipefitters

Work begins late July 2009 and will be completed by earl 2010. The posting will be closed on July 14th, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. and you can apply by calling 1-800-NAT-HIRE.
